I
once was blind, but now I see Him for who He really is. . .

The
Saviour Jesus Christ, the Son of God
The content at this particular link is just magnificent – there is no other word for it.
I would rather visitors
looked at this link in preference to any other page or link on my site
Here
are a few other things regarding the Saviour that have some personal
significance for me.
The
condescension of God is sending His son to save and redeem us at such a
terrible cost is, for me, encapsulated in these 2 profound verses of scripture
“For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not
his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him
might be saved. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the
world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light,
lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light,
that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God”. John
3:16-20
“And
now, the plan of mercy could not be brought about except an atonement should be
made; therefore God himself atoneth for the sins of the world, to bring about
the plan of mercy, to appease the demands of justice, that God might be a
perfect, just God, and a merciful God also.” Alma 42:15
CREATOR
He is the Lord of the Universe. He is the source of all life and the creator of
all living things.
SAVIOUR
God is perfect and no unclean or imperfect thing can dwell in His presence.
Without the saving intervention of Jesus Christ we are all lost and forever cut
off from the presence of our Father. We can and need to become perfected in
Christ
REDEEMER
He has paid the price of all the transgressions of all that will repent and
believe on his name. He is the author of eternal salvation to all who will obey
him. (Heb 5:9) And now, the plan of mercy could not be brought about except an
atonement should be made; therefore God himself atoneth for the sins of the
world, to bring about the plan of mercy, to appease the demands of justice,
that God might be a perfect, just God, and a merciful God also.
TEACHER.
Learn of me, listen to my words, walk in the meekness of my spirit and you
shall have peace in me. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. He knows
what we can become. “For this is my work and my glory, to bring to pass the
immortality and eternal life of man”
EXAMPLE.
He never passed by a person that he was able to help. He went about doing good.
He strongly condemned sin but never the sinner. What manner of men ought ye to
be? Be ye therefore perfect even as I or my Father in Heaven is perfect..
JUDGE
A man rescued a boy from drowning. A few days later the boy was arrested for a
shameful crime, but hoped to find mercy when he discovered that his judge was
the very same man that had rescued him, But the man said “Yesterday I was your
Saviour but today I am your judge”. For the Father judgeth no man but has
committed all judgement to the Son.. We will all stand before him and be
required to give a very detailed account of ourselves
HEALER
The elements of earth and of our bodies are subject to him and obey him out of
respect for him.
SERVANT.
I am (was) among you as one that serves. How knoweth a man the master whom he
has not served. If I who you call your king and master have washed your feet
how much more ought you to serve one another?
ALL
KNOWING. He knows all things and there is nothing that he does not know.
ALL
POWERFUL Because of His infinite love and obedience unto death, all power in
Heaven and Earth has been given to Jesus Christ. If he chose to, he could rub
his fingers together and crush this world into dust. All power in Heaven and
earth has been given to Jesus Christ.
PERFECT
LOVE . . . . which suffering caused
myself even God, the greatest of all, to suffer and to bleed at every pore and
would that I might not drink the bitter cup and shrink, But glory be to the
Father I partook and finished my preparations unto the children of men. Because
of His great love for us He choose to suffer to the extent that his physical
body was destroyed in order to redeem us from sin and death by providing an
atonement that was both infinite and eternal
PERFECT
OBEDIENCE When appearing in the Americas, the first 72 words he spoke to his
people caused them to physically collapse in amazement before him. In these few
words he outlined the thing which he considered to be His most important
personal attribute, which was the totally obedient nature of His Relationship
with His Father.
PERFECT
HUMILITY Because of his great love for us and for his Father, He who was God
before this world willingly descended beneath all things that all things might
in turn become subject to him.
PERFECT
STRENGTH Could you or I treat those that severely abuse us unto with such mercy
patience and kindness and restraint.? He had the power to utterly destroy them
but chose not to use it.
PERFECT
MERCY. And the world, because of their iniquity, shall judge him to be a thing
of naught; wherefore they scourge him, and he suffereth it; and they smite him,
and he suffereth it. Yea, they spit upon him, and he suffereth it, because of
his loving kindness and his long-suffering towards the children of men.
PURE
AND SINLESS He is a being of pure love and goodness. No other person has ever
lived a perfect life in mortality.
EVERY
KNEE SHALL BOW Every person in the history of the world that has been born of
woman and mortal man shall bow the knee to the Jesus Christ the Son of God.
That includes all spiritual leaders such as Buddha, Mohammad, Confucius and
every Pope and Prophet, biblical or otherwise, together with every mortal that
has ever been venerated and honoured by mankind. His overwhelming glory, power
and Majesty will cause all mortals to regard themselves as less than nothing
before Him. Even the devils believe and tremble.
O
that I were an angel, and could have the wish of mine heart, that I might go
forth and speak with the trump of God, with a voice to shake the earth, and cry
repentance unto every people!
Wherefore,
how great the importance to make these things known unto the inhabitants of the
earth, that they may know that there is no flesh that can dwell in the presence
of God, save it be through the merits, and mercy, and grace of the Holy
Messiah, who layeth down his life according to the flesh, and taketh it again
by the power of the Spirit, that he may bring to pass the resurrection of the
dead, being the first that should rise.
